Student Summer Science Camp

Congratulations to JBrynli Bleak of Laramie! She was the winner of our early bird registration drawing!

The response to our Summer Camp this year has been tremendous. Both of our camps have reached capacity, and our waiting lists are almost there as well. Because of this, we closed registration on March 31.

If you were not able to register this year, please join our mailing list by clicking on the button on the home page. This will ensure that you learn about our camps as soon as information is available next year.

WHAT?

The Exploring Science Summer Camps is for middle school students. (The target group is those students who will entering 6th,  7th, 8th or  9th grades in the fall of 2010.) The camp will  provide students with an in-depth inquiry experience. Although the program hasn't been totally set there are rumors of Myth Busters!

WHEN and WHERE?

JUNE 16-19, 2010 at the Teton Science School in Kelly, WY (This camp has reached the maximum number of registrations and the wait list is full.)

JUNE 21-24 at the Allen H. Stewart Lions Camp on Casper Mountain( This camp has reached the maximum number of registrations and the wait list is full.)

(Our camp has moved from the UW Rec Camp near Centennial because the camp is closed this summer due to danger from falling bug trees. We hope to return there next summer.)

WHY?

Because science is cool!

HOW MUCH?

Every thing but transportation will be paid for by the Science Posse.
